The opportunity:
The Marketing Ecommerce Lead will take ownership of both the Marketing team and the VMS business unit, with P&L responsibility. This person must drive a successful eCommerce business model, transitioning VMS from its current bricks-and-mortar approach to a digitally led, high-velocity sales environment, while taking guidance from the Customer Experience Manager to ensure alignment with customer journey touchpoints and experience standards.
What you will do:
- Lead the Marketing Team and the Vital Medical Telemarketing and Customer Service Team as one aligned function.
- Own the commercial performance of the Vital Medical Supplies division, including profit and loss accountability, budget oversight, and return on investment.
- Lead and empower the digital marketing function, setting direction, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Drive the transformation of EHC and VMS market offerings to strengthen competitiveness and support growth.
- Transition marketing activity from traditional channels to digital channels, with a strong focus on ecommerce capability and execution.
- Build team capability and improve performance through coaching, development, and clear accountability.
- Identify and implement ecommerce initiatives that improve customer experience, conversion, and sales performance across EHC and VMS.
- Support the shift from a legacy operating model to a digitally led, high-volume sales environment through structured change leadership.
- Work across teams and stakeholders to align digital strategy, customer experience, and commercial outcomes.
What we are looking for:
- Proven ability to lead and scale eCommerce operations, ideally in tech, FMCG, or other fast-moving sectors
- Experience with Shopify, digital catalogues, and subscription models for promotions and product visibility
- Experience with Salesforce metrics, campaign trackers, and quarterly performance reviews
- Strong financial oversight and budget management skills with the ability to align marketing spend with business outcomes and ROI
- Expertise in SEO, AI-driven marketing, and automated campaign workflows
- Familiarity with Salesforce Pardot for lead tracking, customer journey mapping, and automated messaging
- Ability to map and optimise customer journeys across B2B and B2C channels
- Experience in website integration, search optimisation, and resource centre development
- Capable of leading cross-functional teams and integrating legacy structures with a focus on team empowerment, and change adoption across departments
- End-to-end campaign planning and execution, including flyers, landing pages, EDMs, and reporting
- Ability to manage supplier partnerships and ensure timely content updates
- Strengthen customer experience by aligning change efforts with key customer journey touchpoints
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and align on promotional strategies and product visibility
- Ensure timely delivery of campaign assets and resolve issues that impact performance or customer experience
- Must bring cutting-edge thinking, aggression, and volume-driven sales mentality
- Should challenge traditional practices and support a digital transformation mindset across the business
