The opporunity:

The primary purpose of the Stock Control position is stock counting and achieve functional targets via inventory accuracy, maintain cycle counting schedule and stock take schedule as per Principal requirements, resolve picking accuracy issues, receive and set-up new products, warehouse location administration, ensure quality standards are met, be aware of Safe Work Practices and strive to continually improve safety performance.

 

What you will do:

  • Overall Management of Inventory and Logistics for the entire business, including monitoring, maintaining, and forecasting inventory levels.
  • Suggest and assist in implementing operational improvement initiatives to drive performance of Stock Control. 
  • Maintain the integrity of the inventory system with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock counts, promptly investigating and resolving variances. 
  • Expertise in maintaining and analysing inventory transactions and ensuring that they are properly documented.
  • Implementing improvements in inventory management processes in all facets of inventory control, including transfers between multiple warehouse locations, receipt, and dispatch.
  • Ensure that all warehouses are kept organised and safe by effectively communicating with warehouse staff. 
  • Oversee and ensure all WH&S processes and standards are observed throughout the warehouses.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 Years experience in SAP WM Module. 
  • Proficiency in analysing and working with a large amount of data and reporting.
  • Ability to work within a small team environment and at times autonomously.
  • Detailed understanding and experience of working with an integrated Inventory Management System.
  • Strong computer literacy & Analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively.
  • Overall positive attitude and the desire to learn and progress within your career is a must.
  • Good understanding of WH&S procedures &Warehouse Management Experience
  • Must have Forklift and Scissor Lift experience.
