Territory Manager-Capital NSW

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join our Capital team focusing on our Endoscopy Division with the core supplier Pentax Medical, you will be responsible for leading sales initiatives, managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth.  You will play a key role in shaping our market presence and ensuring our customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and expand market share across the territory.
  • Manage and grow a defined territory within NSW, taking full ownership for delivering or exceeding sales targets and budget expectations.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including clinicians, procurement teams, and hospital decision-makers.
  • Drive proactive territory planning and customer engagement activities to identify new business opportunities and enhance customer retention.
  • Lead the full sales cycle for capital equipment, from opportunity identification and clinical engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Pentax Medical portfolio, positioning solutions effectively based on clinical and commercial value.
  • Support customers post-sale, including onboarding, product utilisation, and ongoing relationship management to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of service and maintenance contracts, supporting customers in contract selection, renewals, and ongoing service engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including clinical, service, and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility and market presence.
  • Maintain accurate territory reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting through CRM systems.

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Nursing, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience in healthcare sales).
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role within the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically and effectively manage risk within a complex sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and navigate challenging conversations.
  • Highly professional and credible in customer-facing situations, with the ability to build trust with clinical and executive stakeholders.
  • Advanced negotiation and closing skills, with proven success in managing complex, high-value sales opportunities.
