Field Service Engineer - Pentax Medical

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join our Capital team with focus on our Endoscopy Division working with our core supplier Pentax Medical. As Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing quality support and service for customers, using your excellent customer skills, you will build professional relationships with a wide range of customers within the industry.

 

We are looking for people whom are self-driven, 100% Customer focused, loyal and have the right attitude and aptitude as this role will requires someone with a "get the job done" approach. You will need enthusiasm, motivation, good communication skills and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service. You will need to have proven experience with electronics and display good mechanical knowledge.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with the wider organisation to provide exceptional service to our customers.  Services include corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment and software & hardware upgrades
  • Actively participating in the sales process and providing expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle
  • Taking a lead in managing and supporting technical escalations through to resolution ensuring all stakeholders are continually updated of progress
  • Providing best-in-class service to our customers with technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment
  • Determining the most effective solution to minimize customer downtime
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge through continual training and development

 

To be successful, you will need:

  • An appropriate technical qualification and/or minimum work experience, preferably in electronics/electrical engineering
  • Soldering cables to PCB for replacement
  • Attention to detail to deliver quality work
  • Working with microscope to repair endoscopes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skills
