Manufacturing Technicians at Australian Biotechnologies work within designated production teams to ensure the continued supply of safe, efficacious human tissue allografts – including soft tissue, orthopaedic, structural, dental, plastics, and dermis grafts – in full conformance with documented specifications and regulatory requirements. This role is central to our mission of restoring patient lives through biologically superior allograft solutions.

Core Manufacturing & Processing

Manufacture human musculoskeletal allografts in line with defined specifications and procedures
Execute production activities as directed to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs
Perform cleaning, preparation, cutting, and packaging of tissue in aseptic conditions
Support production of standard and specialty grafts, including basic troubleshooting
Develop core technical capability, including bandsaw operation

GMP Compliance & Quality

Apply Good Manufacturing Practice across all activities and documentation
Ensure strict adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements
Maintain working knowledge of allograft specifications and quality standards
Operate in an audit-ready manner at all times, supporting QA and audit processes

Cleanroom & Environmental Control

Prepare and maintain sterile work areas and processing environments
Monitor environmental conditions and escalate deviations
Maintain clean, controlled, and compliant workspaces
Execute routine cleaning and maintenance tasks

Operations Support & Team Contribution

Operate, assemble, inspect, and maintain processing equipment and instrumentation
Clean, maintain, and prepare instruments and equipment for sterilisation
Maintain stock levels and ensure availability of production materials
Support inventory accuracy and control as directed
Demonstrate competency through consistent application of skills and knowledge
Support training and onboarding of new technicians
Contribute to team output and achievement of production targets
Support packaging and dispatch of allografts as required
