The Opportunity:
The Customer Service Officer is responsible for delivering prompt, accurate, and professional service to customers and stakeholders while supporting the Customer Service Manager and the broader team. The role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient processes.
What you will do:
- Accurately process customer orders within relevant timeframes.
- Provide advice and support to customers to address issues and solve challenges.
- Maintain accurate and efficient records and information to ensure high quality & efficient processes and meet customer requirements.
- Record, investigate and action customer feedback and complaints.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of products including minimum order quantities and units of measure.
- Work effectively and communicate with the team and colleagues to provide service and advice to internal and external customers.
What we are looking for:
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Customer Service, Health Services, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administration role, ideally within the medical consumables, healthcare, or related industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people in a warm, friendly and helpful manner.
- Independent, resilient, self-motivated, flexible with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- A high level of numerical and data entry skills.
- Results driven with proven skills in problem solving and critical thinking.
- Effective and efficient time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and pivot to meet business needs and tight deadlines.
- A team player who can work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Strong emotional intelligence and relationship building skills with stakeholders, both internal and external to the business.
- A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
- A desire for professional growth and development.
- High level of PC and MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of the medical consumables and devices industry.
