We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Ellerslie, Auckland. This is a hands-on role responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of inventory to both internal and external customers.
You will play an important part in ensuring products are handled safely, inventory is accurately recorded, and orders are prepared and dispatched efficiently. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, teamwork and maintaining high standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Accurately receiving, storing and transacting inventory in the ERP system (including lot, expiry and serial tracking)
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders on time, ensuring safe and compliant packaging
- Managing inventory movements and storage in line with warehouse procedures and FIFO/FEFO principles
- Inspecting inbound and outbound goods, reporting any quality issues or discrepancies
- Supporting stocktakes, cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment and collaborating with teams on replenishment and process improvements
To be successful, you will need:

1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, ideally with ERP systems (SAP highly regarded)

Strong attention to detail with accurate stock handling and documentation skills

Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

A proactive, team-focused approach with clear communication and the ability to escalate issues when needed

A strong commitment to safety, quality and process compliance

Relevant qualifications or licences (e.g. Warehousing/Logistics certificate, forklift licence or equipment experience) advantageous
