This is a career pathway suited to someone with a Computer Science, IT or related technical qualification who wants to master the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in a complex, large-scale environment. What You Will Do:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to identify needs and translate them into clear Functional Specification documents.
- System Ownership: Become an SME for our core applications (SAP, WMS, FMS), troubleshooting issues and managing IDOC error flows.
- Documentation & Standards: Maintain the regression test suite and update SOPs and work instructions to ensure operational excellence.
- Quality & Testing: Coordinate the triaging of software bugs and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users to ensure high-quality releases.
- Project Governance: Maintain the Issues Register and Risk Matrix, providing reporting on key milestones and system readiness.
Who You Are:
- Education: Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical field.
- Analytical Logic: You understand system architecture and can translate technical logic into user-friendly language for the business.
- Problem Solver: You have a natural aptitude for troubleshooting complex system landscapes and a keen attention to detail.
- Documentation Focused: You take pride in creating structured, accurate documentation—from test scripts to process maps.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive team player who is eager to take ownership and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
